Letting the grass grow

So I went to church today to see one of my best friends dance. Her church is really big and I just felt kind of out of place. It just wasn’t for me. I think I need to find one of those places where everybody knows your name, but large enough where they aren’t all in your business.

My life feels so idle right now. I’m just chilling with the parents, taking random naps, playing factory installed games on my computer. Just really lax. My friend’s mom made a reference to my lifestyle that “You don’t let any grass grow under you” meaning I’m always running around. But, I guess this is what I really need. A chance to bond with my parents on an adult level and some time to clear my head.

I need something to do with my life, somewhere to go. We’ll see how long I last trapped in the house.

  1. When I had that crazy free time, I used to think that I’d figure something out with my life or something real substantial. I usually let the time waste away and before I knew it, that free time was gone and it was back to the grind.

I wrote a post about that recently.
